Are you looking for the chance to get out and experience the many restaurants that San Diego has to offer? This is your chance. San Diego Restaurant Week (September 19-24, 2010) provides the opportunity for people to dine at various restaurants throughout San Diego without breaking the bank. There are over 150 restaurants participating this Fall.  Restaurants range from Bertrand at Mister A’s in Banker’s Hill to Firenze Trattoria in Encinitas.

In this biannual event, each restaurant creates a three course tasting menu which provides the diner a chance to experience the cuisine without spending a large amount of money. The menus are set priced at $20, $30, or $40, depending on the restaurant. The Restaurant Listing provides a list of participating restaurants, their locations, menu descriptions, and prices.

There is no extra costs or tickets to buy and you are not limited to the number of restaurants where you can dine. All you have to do is go a restaurant during the week of the event and request the Restaurant Week menu. Advanced reservations are preferred, as this is a popular event. Reservations can be made by contacting a restaurant directly or by going online through the event’s profile section.
