Children’s Storytime Throughout Houston

1

Every week Barnes & Noble stores throughout Houston host a Children’s Storytime where parents can bring their children to enjoy either a new book that has hit the shelves or a widely loved children’s classic!

On Saturday, November 13th at 11:00 AM, the Barnes & Noble on Westheimer will be sharing Jay Williams’ book Everyone Knows What a Dragon Looks Like. Not only will the children delight in hearing a fanciful story about dragons but they’ll also have time to create a dragon themed craft! Storytime is every Saturday at this particular location.

This Thursday, November 11th at 10:00 AM, Barnes and Noble in Champions will be celebrating Thanksgiving. Children are invited to attend a storytime where the first Thanksgiving will be discussed and children can show how thankful they are for their family and friends. After a short story, the children will be able to create Thanksgiving crafts as well. If you can’t make tomorrow’s time the storytime will be repeated on Friday, November 19th.

Barnes & Noble in the River Oaks Shopping Center is also celebrating Thanksgiving this Thursday, November 11th at 11:00 Am. This storytime follows a turkey who decides his best chance of surviving Thanksgiving is to disguise himself as any other animal than a turkey to hide from Farmer Jake! Children are sure to enjoy the antics in Wendi Silvano’s Turkey Trouble.
