Yes, you read that right – the annual Sasquatch Festival at The Gorge, WA, will be expanding to a 4-day event in 2011, and the Foo Fighters are already confirmed to headline one of the days.

It was announced today that the Sasquatch Festival would become a 4-day event in 2011, running from May 27-30 at The Gorge in Quincy, WA. The full line-up is due to be announced on February 7, 2011, but the organizers also dropped a thrilling bombshell in the announcement – Dave Grohl would once again be returning to Washington State, as the Foo Fighters were joining the festival as Friday-night headliners.

Given the band’s huge following in Seattle and surrounding areas this is guaranteed to be a big draw for the festival, and with a fresh Foo Fighters album in the pipeline it’ll be Washington’s first chance to hear their new, heavier material live.

Discount 4-day advance Festival Passes go on sale November 20, 2010, and showcase a new convenient ‘all in’ ticket pricing which includes admission, camping, and service fees. The 4-day passes can be bought via Live Nation from 10:00am (PST) on November 20.

The 4-day festival will also mark Sasquatch’s 10th anniversary, and promises to be their most memorable – and longest – event yet. Check the Sasquatch website for further details as they are announced.
