Long Beach Patchwork Indie Arts and Crafts Festival.

Just in time for the holidy gift buying season, the Patchwork Indie Arts and Crafts Festival will host tons of vendors supplying handmade items in Long Beach this Sunday, November 21, from 11am until 5pm. You can get the jump on Black Friday chaos!

Local artists and crafters from all over southern California will be showcasing all kinds of handmade items, from artwork to pet portraits, glassware to handbags, and every handmade thing inbetween. Admission is free and open to everyone. Kids are welcome, and will enjoy the Kids’ DIY Craft booth. Attendees will also enjoy music produced by a solar powered music booth, and you can even have your gifts wrapped on site with eco-friendly wrapping supplies.

The weather in Long Beach is chilly and a little rainy this weekend, but warm up and get cozy with a few thousand of your closest Long Beach friends near the Marine stadium, on the corner of Bayshore and Appian, near the launch ramps and boats. Bicyclists are encouraged to attend and make use of the Bike Valet service.

Not only will you be literally supporting the local economy, you’ll be buying gifts that are largely sustainably produced and eco-friendly, as well as custom and personal. Even the food is local: sample great nosh from local restaurants and unique food trucks.
