If you can’t face cooking Thanksgiving dinner for ten this year, or your preparations have been cut short by one of the many power outages this week, then dining out at a Seattle restaurant may be the answer to your problems.

Not only are many fine restaurants in the Seattle area open for Thanksgiving, but they also take care of the worst part of Thursday’s culinary marathon – washing the dishes. So, if you’re thinking of dining out for Thanksgiving this year, you might consider one of the following restaurants in Seattle and the surrounding area:

Lola. Part of Tom Douglas’s always-reliable restaurant empire, Lola could help bring a touch of class – and sanity – to your Thanksgiving celebrations. In addition to their regular menu they will also be serving a traditional 3-course Thanksgiving meal, served from noon until 6:00pm.

Salty’s on Alki. Best known for its spectacular outdoor dining on West Seattle’s Alki beach, Salty’s is also offering an impressive Thanksgiving buffet from 10:45am-6:45pm. Contact the restaurant for full details and prices.

Argosy Cruises. Yes, you heard that right – Thanksgiving dinner on a boat! The Royal Argosy sets sail for a special Thanksgiving cruise this year, providing a full turkey dinner alongside some of the best views of Seattle and the Sound. The cruise runs from Pier 56, 2:00pm-5:00pm.

McCormick & Schmick’s. The seafood chain is offering a Thanksgiving dinner in its Downtown, Bellevue and Lake Union locations, and while it may not be the most original choice, at $22.95 per person it won’t break the bank either. Expect traditional Thanksgiving favorites, along with plenty of seafood.

Cutter’s Bayhouse. Another great downtown choice, Cutter’s will also be offering a traditional turkey dinner (with pumpkin pie, naturally), and is conveniently open from noon-8:00pm.

If none of these restaurants whet your appetite, then check out the Thanksgiving page on OpenTable for further holiday options in Seattle and surrounding areas.
