These guys are playing too
More bands are being announced for this summer’s Warped Tour, and still, I’m feeling like I’d rather go to my own funeral than attend Warped this year. Not that I’ve attended since the fifth one. Yeah, that’s right kids — I was at the first five Warped Tours. And then I stopped. But in my opinion, there’s no real reason to buy a ticket. Yet.

There’s something like 250 bands on Warped each yea, and now, add Winds of Plague to the lineup for the 2011 installment. The Southern California metallers were added to the lineup earlier this week, and I figured I’d wait until we had a slow news day.

Of course, Winds of Plague will be on the bill because they’ll have a new record to plug the fuck out of. The band entered a Los Angeles studio not too long ago with renowned producer Matt Hyde to begin recording its new album for an early 2011 release. Black Veil Brides are also on the bill, but no one is reporting that but me.

Who else is playing this summer? Miss May I and Woe, Is Me. There’s also Grieves and Budo, The Dangerous Summer, The Wonder Years, Go Radio, We Came As Romans, Dance Gavin Dance, The Word Alive, and Every Avenue.

For dates, just follow this link, jerkface.

This is the last week you can sign up for our newsletter and be entered into a drawing for a Black Dahlia Murder skate deck, signed by frontman and Gun Shy Assassin scribe Trevor Strnad.
