Brian Fair of Shadows Fall
Those Massachusetts metallers you know and love are planning their live return this weekend in the Tri-State Area, but Shadows Fall are also working on new material. I wish Overcast was working on new material. That would be a Christmas miracle! But it will not be happening any time soon. Damn. I loved Overcast. Like I love mozzarella sticks. And that is quite a bit.

“Can’t wait for the shows this weekend in New York and New Jersey,” says dreaded frontman Brian Fair. “These will be our last two shows before we go into writing mode and a perfect way to end our tour cycle for Retribution.”

The band is scheduled to perform December 18 at Santos Party House in New York City and then will take over the Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, New Jersey, on December 19.

“Shadows Fall has not played a show in New York City for way too long and a spot like Santos Party House is the perfect place for an up-close-and-chaotic metal show,” Fair enthused. “We head to Starland Ballroom in New Jersey the next day, a venue that has always been one of our favorite places to play and always an amazing crowd. Both shows are early, so no slacking. Get down early and get the party started.”

This is the last week you can sign up for our newsletter and be entered into a drawing for a Black Dahlia Murder skate deck, signed by frontman and Gun Shy Assassin scribe Trevor Strnad.
