Suicide Silence, Goatwhore Among Bands Working On New LPs
Today, it felt as though every other fucking band you’ve ever fucking heard of was headed into a recording studio to begin work on their next great studio offering. Problem is, when a band hits the studio, what more really is there to say beyond that? They are in the studio…or booked studio time. Big whoop! So here’s a quick roundup of all the bands now working on new shit…according to reports from Facebook and various other online sources.
First, there’s Goatwhore — who have been talking a lot lately about their next album. They have officially started writing new material for their next album in their hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. That’s all the information available at this point.
Oh, and Suicide Silence have begun writing new material for their next album, too. Band guitarist Chris Garza recently Tweeted the following: “Day one of working on the new record. Coming along great so far. @MarkHeylmun just left and I have never been this stoked for new tunes.” Killer, bra!
That band We Came As Romans are prepping a deluxe edition of their last disc, To Plant A Seed, which drops January 18 — the same day Jesse Leach and Times of Grace’s new album The Hymn of a Broken Man hits stores. The band is also planning to hit the studio in the next month or so to start tracking their new album, with producer Joey Sturgis on the knobs.
