That's a rad poster
Yes, ladies and germs…Helmet, St. Vitus, and Crowbar are teaming up for the first-ever Metalliance Tour, which will kick off March 17 and run through April 5, crisscrossing the U.S. like an out of control wildfire.

Those dates for you, after the jump. But before you go and check to see if the tour is coming to your area, you should know that Helmet will be performing their 1992 classic Meantime in its glorious entirety. According to a press release, “this tour will be one of the most anticipated of 2011.” Also, the trek will feature openers The Atlas Moth, Howl, and Intronaut.

“Wow! This tour is gonna rule!,” says Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein enthused in same press release, before going on to kiss the collective asses of the rest of his tour mates. “I’ve loved Helmet since the beginning and loved St. Vitus even longer. With the new Crowbar record having hit the streets by then, look out! This bill will bring just what we need to crush each city with an avalanche of stylistic thunder!” Sheer poetry!
