Decapitated Set To Enter Studio Next Month
According to a press release just sent out, Polish technical death metal band Decapitated will be entering RG Studio in Gdańsk, Poland, on February 9. Why, you ask? To record their fifth studio album, funny pants! And I — for one — couldn’t be more tickled. Decapitated have had a rough go of it, so it’s always good to hear positive news from the band.
The album will follow-up 2006’s Organic Hallucinosis. The new release will be produced by Wacek Kiełtyka and sound engineered by Malta Arkadiusz Malczewski. Because it’s crucial you know this.
Meanwhile, the drums will be recorded with Daniel Bergstrand, who has worked with bands like Behemoth, Meshuggah, and Keep of Kalessin. He’ll also be mixing the bastard.
The band’s as-yet-untitled new disc is highly anticipated. Try and argue that it isn’t! I dare you. All joking aside, it will be great to hear some new shit from Decapitated, because, let’s face it — you still listen to old shit from Decapitated. So new shit would be fantastic.
