A handful. Six in all, and two of them are in Texas. One is in New York City, which is dope. That’s all I care about.

Down — that band from New Orleans featuring Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown from Pantera, Kirk Windstein from Crowbar, and Corrosion of Conformity’s Pepper Keenan — will hit the road March 4, and play three shows. Then, on April 28, they’ll be in New York, and play three East Coast dates.

The band have been working on new material, which is probably why they’re playing some shows…to test some of that shit out. Last October, Down released a three-disc offering called Diary of a Mad Band, a live set with a DVD. Those new dates…after the jump.

Down tour dates:
3/4 – New Orleans, LA @ The Hangar
3/5 – Maxwell, TX @ The Cotton Gin
3/6 – Houston, TX @ Warehouse Live
4/28 – New York, NY @ Best Buy Theatre
4/29 – Philadelphia, PA @ Trocadero
4/30 – Sayreville, NJ @ Starland Ballroom
