In a statement provided to Blabbermouth, Six Feet Under bassist Terry Butler revealed he’s no longer the bassist for Six Feet Under. He fucking quit. Oh, and so did drummer Greg Gall.
“As many of you know, I have been helping Obituary out on bass over the past year and now will be officially joining them as a permanent band member,” says Butler. “Being in Six Feet Under for 16 years, I have had the pleasure of meeting a lot of our dedicated fans and have made many friends along the way. I hope to see you out there!”
OK, so we know why Terry left, but why did Gall leave? If Butler jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, would Gall?
Butler wished “nothing but the best for [frontman] Chris Barnes and [guitarist] Steve Swanson in their future with Six Feet Under.” And just like that, he’s peacing out. Strange. Now, Six Feet Under will need to find some new members. Bummer.
