Trivium Switch Studios For New Album’s Recording
Fuck, man. I wonder why? These dudes were all set to record their next foray into shit at producer Jason Suecof’s Audio Hammer Studios, but have had a change of heart, seemingly.
According to Trivium leader Matt Heafy’s Twitter, the recording sessions have now been moved to Paint It Black Studios in Orlando, Florida. Since I’m buds with Jason, this unexpected move to a different studio has only given me one more reason to not like this band.
“Moved studios to Paint It Black. Gorgeous, perfectly equipped studio. Guitars on hold till next Monday; but! Our drum sound…Man…Unbelievable.”
I’m sure it will be unbelievable, and not at all predictable or Metallica-sounding.
The band is recording their as-yet-untitled record with the production team of Colin Richardson (who has worked with Slipknot, among others) and Martin “Ginge” Ford (who did shit with Funeral For A Friend and Bullet For My Valentine). The album is expected to be out this summer through Roadrunner Records.
