Behemoth’s Nergal Makes First Public Appearance Since Bone Marrow Transplant
Let me just tell you folks — I was gone all fucking day, doing my best to get an actual job, so I am sorry for the radio silence. But let me say this: I was super fucking thrilled to find out that Behemoth’s Adam “Nergal” Darski is doing better — at least better enough to make public appearances.
The 33-year-old leukemia-stricken guitarist and frontman for Behemoth — and the proud boyfriend of a super hottie named Doda — made his first public appearance earlier this week since undergoing a life-saving bone marrow transplant procedure.
This photo surfaced from dude’s February 28 visit to the Musicollective music school in Gdansk, Poland. Not sure why he was there but he was. Glad to see that the man is doing much better and I wish him a full recovery.
Back in January, Nergal release the following statement: “Although the whole treatment went really good, as well as the bone marrow transplant and the post-transplant period, the next several months is the time when I must really take care of myself. Of course, I will have plenty of time to recover, think about the strategy and my return to the stage — which approaches imminently. First of all, however, I must rebuild my physical condition.”
