Death metal outfit Hackneyed are no longer with Nuclear Blast, having signed a new deal with Lifeforce Records.
The signing was announced by the label in a press release. The label calls Hackneyed “a band we [have been] watching since their first steps and we can easily consider as one of the most fresh and promising Death Metal bands out there.”
“The news about our new deal with Lifeforce Records reached us straight in the studio, where we currently record our third album,” the band said in a statement. “We are very psyched and happy about our new partnership with Lifeforce Records — a label with a great reputation, history and a very nice roster we are proud to be part of now. We are very happy to be part of such great family now.”
Hmm. They said the word “now” twice. I guess maybe I’m reading too much into it, but could that be a stab at Nuclear Blast? What do you fine folks think?
