So, Autopsy — featuring Gun Shy Assassin columnist Chris Reifert — have a new record on the way called Macabre Eternal, the San Francisco Bay Area gore legends’ first studio set since 1995’s Shitfun.

Now comes words that the release will, in fact, get the vinyl treatment, which is fucking awesome.

Macabre Eternal will hit stores on May 31 via Peaceville Records, but the special vinyl edition will be out earlier, exclusively through the Peaceville web store on May 16.

Reifert has called the album “the sickest and heaviest material that our rotten souls could possibly spew forth, and we are confident that it’s our best stuff yet.”

Oh, that slippery Reifert. You know, there should be a raunchy, bordering-on-illegal sex act — à la The Donkey Punch, The Dry Noriega, and The Dirty Sanchez — called The Slippery Reifert. Maybe it could involve fucking a chick with a King Cone or something.
