Limp Bizkit Set Release Date For Gold Cobra
On June 7, the long wait is over.
We will finally have new Limp Bizkit music to feast on for the first time since 2005, when the band released their The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1). Shocking there was never a Part 2 to that stunning release.
According to Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst’s Twitter, the Bizkit’s long-delayed new album Gold Cobra will land on record store shelves on June 7, through Interscope. I guess the label’s planning on using the disc as a tax write off in 2012.
“Official release date for Limp Bizkit‘s new album GOLD COBRA is June 7, 2011 — Time to fill the void. Accept no substitutes,” Durst Twitted.
I never imagined even five years ago that I’d still be writing stories about Limp Bizkit. I was almost certain this band would fade away into obscurity, and they came pretty close. But they’ve managed to hang in there somehow.
