Israeli black metal band Melechesh are in need of a new bassist now that Rahm has decided to take off.
The parting was characterized as amicable; Rahm joined the band a year ago. The remaining members of the group cited “professional reasons” as the reason for the split. Hmm. Wonder what that could mean? He has another profession?
“The band unanimously decided it is best to part ways with Rahm due to professional reasons that could have seriously affected the well being of the band,” said band frontman Ashmed. “We wish him nothing but the best, we had good times. For now we will be auditioning bass players/backing vocalists.”
The band will start auditioning experienced bass players effective immediately, and hope possible replacements have an “interest in the themes and music of Melechesh” and lives “in or around The Netherlands.” Added the band: “NO time-wasters , no ulterior motivations, no joyriders, please.”
