Slash Reveals Plans For Second Solo LP
Slash — the former Guns N’ Roses guitarist who may or may not actually be real — claims that his next solo LP will be out in one year’s time.
Slash has been working on new material for the set, and said Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy — who sang on just two tracks on Slash’s self-titled solo debut — will return to sing all vocal parts on Slash’s sophomore solo offering.
“Myles and I have been writing all throughout the tour so we’ve got a lot of material, and at this point we’re probably gonna start a little bit of pre-production in June and then do the tour in July,” Slash is quoted by Blabbermouth as saying. “In September we’re going to [do more] pre-production and the album is slated to come out in March or April.”
Slash’s debut disc came out last year and featured a different singer on each track, including Chris Cornell, Fergie, Ozzy Osbourne, Avened Sevenfold’s M. Shadows and others.
