The reunited Animosity-era lineup of Corrosion of Conformity — that’s Mike Dean on bass and vocals, Woody Weatherman on guitar and Reed Mullin behind the kit — are hard at work on their next studio set, and now, we’re finding out more about the forthcoming LP.
The band entered the studio earlier in the year with longtime producer John Custer to begin recording Corrosion of Conformity’s new album, which should be ready for a late 2011 release.
In an interview with UGO, Dean said that the album was still not titled, but that several songs were. He also seem nonchalant about the release date for the album.
“The title is yet to be determined. A self-titled release crossed our minds but the album title is a game-time decision,” he says. “October is a good time but if we miss that, early 2012 would be a fine time for release. ‘The Moneychangers,’ ‘River Of Stone’ and ‘Rat City’ are some of the [song]titles [that will appear on the CD].”
