Amebix, Sepultura Post New Songs Online
Unfortunately, you won’t find them here. But that’s OK. We can’t debut every fucking song, you know kids…but that better start changing soon, man. We have been debuting a bunch of great songs and albums lately, and for this, we are psyched. But we want more. More, I tell you — MORE! Share the wealth, folks.
Anyways, it’s cool that Cvlt Nation got to debut a track from Amebix’s new studio offering. The song is called “Knights of the Black Sun,” and it has just been released digitally and on deluxe 12” vinyl via Profane Existence. Listen to the song, and let us know what you think. I’m sure you will dig it. Like I always say, it’s good to discover new bands. Not that Amebix is new. In fact, they’ve been around a while. But they may be new to you!
I guess some folks weren’t too keen on the track, initially, to which a certain person I know offered: “You have shit music taste. Did you want another ‘Axeman?’ The band’s sound had grown tremendously and [they] will surely release their best material on the next LP.” I liked that comment on Facebook.
Sepultura also debuted a new track online called “Mask.” You can hear it over at Metal Sucks, presumably. I couldn’t. The site was down when I tried. Refresh as I might, I could not get the page to come up.
Maybe you’ll have better luck. Go listen to the song, and come back and offer your review in our comments section. Or better still, go to Facebook, where you can talk smack uncensored. Just like our page, which you can do to the right, in the center of this webpage. Or whatever it is.
Someone told me the song sounds like old school Sepultura. Wish I knew for sure, but I don’t. The song comes from the group’s latest album, Kairos, which drops July 12.
