Congratulations, Fred Durst: You like “Star Wars.” You’ve just joined an elite group that counts practically everybody who has ever seen the original film! Anyways, if you wanna see Fred and Wes Borland in “Star Wars” masks, head for the end of this post and watch the video.
Then, come join us on the official GunShyAssassin Facebook page, and talk shit with us. I mean, I could spend a day ragging on the lyrics alone.
I especially love the part where Fred sings about not caring about what anyone thinks. Is that supposed to surprise us? I think I know long ago that Fred didn’t care about what anyone thought of him. If he did, he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing.
Gold Cobra will be out June 28 through Interscope.
“We’ve come full circle to absolutely own who we are as a band,” says Durst in a press release. “[We’re] an undisputed five piece rap rock powerhouse who crushes every stage we play”
Notice in that picture that, along with his trademark Yankees hat (I bet he’s not even a fucking fan), you can see a LucasFilms hat, too…and check out that, like, lamp that you’d find at a bad bed ‘n’ breakfast.
