Limp Bizkit, Other Bands You Hate Playing Epicenter
That’s right, Californians.
Epicenter — Southern California’s rock festival — is set for September 24 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California. The day-long rock festival will feature headliners Limp Bizkit, according to a press release. It will be the band’s first Southern California show in over a decade and their first American live performance of 2011.
“Limp Bizkit is back, more dangerous and contagious than ever with our original lineup, new album, Gold Cobra, and Epicenter to take your rock and roll fantasy past the extreme,” says Fred Durst, lead asshole in Limp Bizkit. “I promise this will be a party you do NOT want to miss. Epicenter will be our first and only Southern California shindig. And fellas, don’t be mad that Epicenter will be filled with women…that’s how we roll.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake. Filled with women? I guess Fred’s going to hire all of the hookers in the Los Angeles area to attend the show. And why would dudes be mad if some venue was crawling with chicks? Not only is that statement not true (if the place is crawling with chicks, they’ll either be hot and with a dude or gross and with crotch rot), it’s just dumb.
Epicenter will also feature Staind, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Asking Alexandria, Buckcherry, P.O.D., Puddle of Mudd, Skillet, Redlight King (who?), Middle Class Rut and Drive A.
