Here in America, we have this show called “The Voice.” I’ve honestly never seen it, but from what I understand, “The Voice” is like a blindfolded “American Idol.” It’s a singing competition, but the judges base their decisions solely on who has talent, and not what they look like.
Plans are afoot to bring the show to Poland, and according to Blabbermouth, Behemoth’s Adam “Nergal” Darski is said to have signed on to be a judge on Poland’s version of the show. It will be called “The Voice Of Poland.”
I wonder what it’s like to live in Poland. I often wonder that about a lot of countries I have never been to. As an American, I can’t truly imagine life any other way than the way I’ve lived it. I have been to Japan and India and some countries in Europe, and I always wonder to myself: What must it have been like to grow up here?
I’d love to go to Poland some day. Hey Nergal, can I crash with you?
Nergal’s participation in the show has not yet been confirmed yet but it is being reported in the Polish media that the producers of “The Voice Of Poland” are hoping that Nergal’s presence on the program will attract a new audience as well as improve its chances of competing against rival television talent-show franchise “X Factor.”
The American version of “The Voice” features judges Adam Levine of Maroon 5 (who was camp pals with Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman), country star Blake Shelton, former masturbation material Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
