As if we all didn’t know that already. And why wouldn’t he sign on for another year?
Signing on for that first season of “America Idol” was the ultimate sell-out move. What would stop Steven Tyler from doing it a second time? I’ve got to imagine the second time is much easier. It’s like everything, especially sex. Sometimes, the first time, it’s rather hard, but the second time, it’s a hell of a lot easier.
“American Idol” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe announced on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Wednesday that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler would be returning to the judge’s table.
He returns with Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. J.Lo’s gonna make $20 million for this second stint as “Idol” judge. No word on how much Steven Tyler’s being paid, but he allegedly will get a raise.
I wonder if this will further delay the oft-stalled next collection of Aerosmith songs, which’ll probably end up sprinkling the soundtracks of future Jerry Bruckheimer flicks.
