Lamb Of God’s Morton Auctioning Off Guitar For Noble Cause
This post has so much news in it, you may not be able to fucking take it. You may gain a pound or to just by reading it, and if you are a Lamb of God fan, you’ll no doubt be more in the know. You wanna be more in the know, right?
First off, Lamb of God’s Mark Morton is auctioning off one of his stage guitars, which the dude played during LOG’s recent set at the D-Tox Fest back on June 17 in Quebec, Canada. The guitar is a Mark Morton signature model Jackson Dominion, literally plucked from Morton’s personal collection. It’s not just some axe that came off an assembly line.
The guitar is autographed and will come with photographs from the performance and a personal letter of appreciation and authenticity from Morton, says a press release. All proceeds from the auction will benefit Victory Junction, a camp for chronically ill children in Randleman, North Carolina.
You can bid on the guitar by clicking right here.
Proceeds from the auction will help pay for a child to attend the camp for the first time.
“Victory Junction is amazing,” explained Morton, who recently visited the camp. “One of the highlights for me was getting to hang out with Brian. Hearing first-hand about how special this camp is to these kids and learning about all the liberating experiences they pack into a week made me that much more thrilled about our auction. Not only will the winning bidder get a beautiful instrument, they will also receive the joy of knowing that their generosity gave a special child, like my buddy Brian, a week at camp that they will surely never forget!”
The auction is happening right now, and ends October 1.
