Fred Durst To Star In Own CBS Comedy

Fred's best role
Man, they’ll give anyone with half a name a fucking development deal these days. Yet, no one’s buying my awesome scripts. Bummer.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst has signed on to produce and star in an upcoming TV comedy series for CBS.

Deadline broke the unsettling news late last week.

The untitled comedy, sometimes referred to as “Douchebag,” probably because of Durst’s affiliation with it, centers around a rock legend looking for balance between his high profile lifestyle and trying to raise a family. It will be written by Matthew Carlson (“Mr. Sunshine”).

Durst’s only previous credits were on episodes of NBC’s limited series “Revelations” and Fox’s “House.” In the film world, Durst has directed “The Education of Charlie Banks” and “The Longshots.”

There was also that porn film Durst made. That thing sucked. You barely got to see the bored chick he was boning.

If Fred becomes the next Charlie Sheen, I might have to kill myself.
