Coinciding with the release of Carbon-Based Anatomy, Cynic have confirmed a special release party for this Wednesday, November 2.

Where will it happen? Idle Hands Bar in New York City, where Jesse Leach regularly DJs — on a side note.

The band will be on hand, signing copies of their new EP, which kicks nuts in more ways than you can even imagine. I highly recommend it.

A special intimate acoustic set is planned for the evening. Idle Hands is located in the East Village on 25 Avenue B, between 2nd and 3rd. There will be plenty of drink specials including the $10 Tasting Night with Sierra Nevada, according to a press release.

Go get drunk with Cynic. Kind of sucks the wind outta the sails of the Suckfest, if you ask me. But who the fuck am I?

Meanwhile, Cynic will be touring this fall with 3 and Scale the Summit. Those dates follow.
