Chris Cornell has laryngitis, caused by the flu. So, if you were planning on attending tonight’s show in Miami Beach, you may want to make different plans.

Due to his ongoing illness, Cornell has postponed yet another show — this time at at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami, Florida.

The show is the fourth Cornell has canceled after picking up the virus while playing with Soundgarden at The Voodoo Experience in New Orleans on October 28.

Cornell also cancelled a gig in Nashville on November 2, the next gig in Orlando on November 4, and Tampa’s November 5 show.

Cornell is still scheduled to kick off his South American tour on November 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Cornell and Soundgarden have been recording as of late, but Cornell said that the band’s first album in almost 16 years is “mostly done” in an interview with Rolling Stone, and that it feels like the band “haven’t missed a beat.”

Nice. Describing the “personality” of the new disc, Cornell offered the following: “It’s very warm to me and adventurous like all our albums were. It doesn’t sound like a throwback to any previous period and we’re definitely approaching songs in different ways than we’ve done…but we always did that from album to album so it feels like the genuine next step to me. It doesn’t feel nostalgic, it feels forward.”
