Ephel Duath — a prog-metal band with elements of jazz and punk — have signed with Agonia Records.
As part of the new deal, Ephel Duath will release an EP and two full length albums through the label.
“Under the leading role of talented guitarist and songwriter Davide Tiso, the machine of Ephel Duath is ready to send out a new musical impulse, with the artistic contribution of a new line-up of well-known special session musicians, soon to be announced,” says a press release.
Ephel Duath’s new EP will be recorded in January at Sharkbyte Studios in Oakland, California.
Hate Eternal’s Erik Rutan will handle the mixing duties at his Mana Recording Studio.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Ephel. I thought they were over. Done. Gone. Zilch. Dead. But they’re back, I guess.
I am looking forward to their next round of craziness. Anyone else? Or am I the only one? And by the way — who ever heard of this Agonia label anyways?
Not me. Never heard of ‘em.
