Arch Enemy To Go On Hiatus “For A While”

So, I know a lot of people thought Khaos Legions was a solid record, and in a way, it was. But I feel like people are really just done with Arch Enemy, because most people would rather see Mike Amott playing and recording with Carcass.

Am I wrong? Let me know, please, because I honestly feel like people are done with Arch Enemy. Anyways, the ever-sexy, brutally-sensual Angela Gossow spoke to Greece’s Rock Overdose, likely over email, because her answers are short and there’s no follow-up.

One of the questions was about touring and Arch Enemy’s impending plans.

“We play a lot of shows and my workload as the manager and vocalist in Arch Enemy is immense,” says Angie. “I have to be strong and healthy for that — so I take good care of my body, I am a vegan, I work out a lot. I will also take a year or more off after we finish the touring cycle for Khaos Legions in 2012. I need some time to recharge my batteries. Arch Enemy will go on hiatus for a while.”

Angie needs a break. Maybe she’ll have a child with Mike. Either way, I hope a hiatus for Arch Enemy means a full-on rebirth for Carcass.

It’d be great to get another Carcass record, and shit — I’d go see them live again if they rolled through town. That last tour was the tits.

Then, Rock Overdose asked Angie what she likes to do in her down time. If you didn’t think she was sexalicious before, read on.

“I love working out, relaxing in a sauna, smoking weed, watching documentaries, [and] educating myself,” Gossow responded.

My heart just exploded.
