Philadelphia’s Act II Playhouse announced today that they have added additional performances of “Let’s Pretend We’re Married” to their schedule! The show is running for two weeks only, and at least one show is already sold out!
“Let’s Pretend We’re Married” is a cabaret staring Tony Braithwaite and Jennifer Childs. It features music and sketches from famous comedic couples like The Bickersons, Edith and Archie Bunker, Lucy and Desi, Sonny and Cher, and Burns and Allen. “Let’s Pretend We’re Married is one of my favorite shows to do … ever. Tony and I have such fun together – it never feels like work,” Childs said. “The opportunity to do it at Act II, where Tony has such a rich history, is sublime.”
