Do you like good horror? If you do then you probably know that Ti West is making some of the best genre jams of the last few years. His 2009 offering, House of the Devil, is a fun little throwback to the babysitter in danger films of the 70s and 80s. Now, after playing at tons of film festivals over the past year, his latest film, The Innkeepers, is getting a limited release and can be seen at Seattle’s very own Grand Illusion Cinema starting this Friday, February 3rd through February 9th.

Here’s what the GI website has to say about The Innkeepers:

In his new film, Innkeepers, horror auteur Ti West trades the ominous tone of his previous effort, House of the Devil… for a lighter, more playful vibe without sacrificing slow-burning suspense and freaky shocks. New England’s Yankee Pedlar Inn is closing its doors for good as the last remaining employees (Sara Paxton and Pat Healy) try to find proof that it’s inhabited by ghosts. Seattle band The Maldives lend some country rock to the soundtrack!

This might be your only chance to see The Innkeepers in Seattle, so you should jump on it.

The Innkeepers shows daily at 7pm and 9pm, with additional 5pm shows on Saturday and Sunday.

As an added bonus, the Grand Illusion is also showing House of the Devil late nights, at 11pm, February 3rd and 4th, and again on the 10th and 11th.

Come for The Innkeepers, stay for House of the Devil. Sounds like a solid double feature to me.
