God Forbid Unveil New Album Cover, Title

That is correct, sir.

New Brunswick, New Jersey’s own melodic thrash-metal sons God Forbid will release their new album, Equilibrium, on March 27 through Victory Records.

The bulk of the CD was recorded by Mark Lewis (Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder) with Jason Suecof (Chimaira, All That Remains) stepping in during the the vocal-tracking stage.

The effort was mixed by acclaimed Swedish producer Jens Bogren, who has previously worked with such acts as Opeth, Amon Amarth, Katatonia, and Paradise Lost.

God Forbid will be playing two shows soon: one on February 18 in Brooklyn at St. Vitus (my favorite bar) and another on February 24 in Clifton, New Jersey, at Dingbatz.

I am actually looking forward to hearing what the God Forbid boys have come up with. It should be pretty rad, if what I’m hearing through the grapevine’s true.
