24th Annual Northwest Women's Show, March 2-4
Sometimes women just want to be with other women. No offense to the husbands, boyfriends, sons and male BFFs out there, but it’s true. Whether it’s a ladies’ night out or brunch and manicures with the girls, women enjoy being in each other’s company. At the Northwest Women’s Show, this Friday through Sunday at Century Link Event Center, ladies can enjoy an entire weekend of activities tailored to the female sensibility. Â Attendees can shop and sample from over 400 businesses, attend helpful seminars, and enjoy entertainment from 5 different, themed stages.
This year’s highlights include celebrity speaker Linda Evans, wine tasting brought to you by Wine World and Thirsty Girl, food art demonstrations by award-winning chef Tiberio Simone, Le Faux celebrity impersonation show, a Seattle Firemen fashion show, and book discussions by authors including Ann Rule.
Each day at the show has a different theme:
- Fitness Friday – women of all fitness levels are encouraged to bring their workout shoes and join in on Zumba classes and Tabata workouts.
- Stylin’ Saturday – dozens of fashion seminars and demonstrations will be offered throughout the day, while the Fashion Police keep a lookout for one fabulous female to be awarded a prize.
- Spirit Sunday – motivational speakers, inspirational seminars, psychic readings, and the GLOW Experience (a way to promote acts of kindness among each other) encourage women to end the weekend with a lifted spirit.
