Sadus Drummer Jon Allen Treated For Blood Clot
It’s time like this, ladies and gentleman, when we must acknowledge our metal gods are nothing more than mere mortals.
Drummer Jon Allen — known for his work with Sadus, Dragonlord, and Testament — is said to be recovering after being treated for a blood clot.
Allen was operated on and doctors removed a very large, life-threatening blood clot from his right leg.
Back-to-back state-of-the-art ultrasonic clot-busting treatments were performed on March 7 and March 8 in an effort to clear a complete blockage.
The vascular surgeon says the treatments were a complete success and Allen is expected to make a full recovery. He will return to performing within a few weeks, doctors said.
Once Allen has recovered, he will be back in the Bay to lay down drum tracks for Dragonlord’s forthcoming CD.
