Norwegian blackened death metal legends Vomit have released their cult album, Still Rotting, through Misantrof Antirecords, as part of the commemoration of the label’s fifth anniversary.
Still Rotting consists of rehearsals and demo recordings from the late ’80s that had previously only been released in limited editions on CD and Vinyl.
Considered to be one of the very first proper death metal bands in Norway, Vomit once shared members with Mayhem.
Vomit has been cited as a major influence by Fenriz of Darkthrone.
The earliest incarnation of the band formed in 1983. The name Vomit was first used in 1985 and marked the beginning of their extreme metal sound.
Still Rotting can be downloaded for free from the band’s Misantrof page in it’s complete and original form.
