Yes, yes — I am not a fan of David Draiman or Disturbed. I mean…who is? Not anyone who claims to like metal.
Now, Disturbed’s Draiman has been teasing this industrial project as of late — what he’s doing while Disturbed’s on hiatus.
Yesterday, he elaborated more on the new band; he says it will not be dubstep, which is surprising. I figured Dave would be the type of dude to do the bandwagon-hopping thing.
“NO, ITS ABOUT AS CLOSE TO IT AS NIN OR MINISTRY OR RAMMSTIEN ARE,” says Draiman online. “INDUSTRIAL PREDATES DUB STEP. IN OTHER WORDS, IT IS AT ALL TIMES A GUITAR DRIVEN SOUND.”
Very good, Draiman. He revealed he is working with former Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo on the new songs.
“I’LL GIVE YOU A LITTLE MORE INFO, THEN I HAVE TO LEAVE IT ALONE FOR NOW. I’M WORKING WITH GENO LENARDO FROM FILTER,” he said.
It’ll still suck.
I think I’d rather hear my own last breath before being forced to endure this douchery.
