Belphegor Rehearsing For New Album Sessions
Before you record, you must rehearse…I guess.
Austrian blackened death metal band Belphegor has started “the rehearsal sessions in Abtenau, Austria, for its upcoming album recordings,” a press release says.
“All good so far,” says the band’s guitarist and vocalist Helmuth Lehner.
“We just finished the second rehearsing session. Currently we’re working on nine sound-collages, added a lot new arrangements, elements and structures,” he says.
“Serpenth, Marthyn and me shredded our asses off in these eleven days. There will be three more ’till we enter the studio by end of May 2012 and start to tracking drums. The titles on the setlist are working titles. Hell awaits!”
Belphegor’s as-yet-untitled new CD will be released in late 2012 on Nuclear Blast Records.
