This tour just keeps getting better and better — how could you miss it?
Seminal technical metal outfit Atheist have been added to three shows on the Death To All Tour; the shows in Orlando, Atlanta and Dallas, to be specific. The latter two — at the The Masquerade on July 1 and House of Blues on July 3, respectively — were just announced.
The Death To All Tour 2012 will benefit Sweet Relief, and hit five cities. I wonder who the cool third act will be in New York. I can’t fucking wait. I hope it’s someone like Mutilation Rites or Revocation.
The tour will celebrate the life and music of Chuck Schuldiner, and feature many past members of Death.
“We could not be more honored to be direct support on the upcoming ‘Death To All’ tour,” says frontman Kelly Shaefer.
“It’s gonna be a blast to gather with all our old and dear friends form the early days of extreme metal, and also to help celebrate the music from the godfather of death metal, Chuck Schuldiner,” he says.
“Any fan of death/extreme metal, I’m telling you now, sell everything to attend one or more of these shows. It’s going to be legendary and you can bet on that! We will be doing the Orlando, Atlanta and Dallas shows, so we hope to see all the Southern metalheads out in force. Thanks to Anton and the organizers for asking us to be a part of this monumental moment in extreme metal history! See you all there!”
The tour will also feature Gorguts, and we have written about the tour a bunch, so read that shit here.
