This is mad phat. I am hoping one will eventually be scheduled for New York. Like, the real New York.
Legendary New York hardcore outfit Agnostic Front has announced a trio of commemorative shows to celebrate their 30th year as a band.
The band plan to perform their classic live album Live At CBGBs in its entirety to pay homage to the passionate New York hardcore subculture that has stood the test of time — a movement led by Agnostic since the early 1980s.
Those three shows may be the only three. I am hoping that is not the case.
One is set for June 23 at Cafe 611 in Frederick, Maryland, with a second happening the next day in Reading, Pennsylvania, at Reverb.
A third goes down June 29 in Rochester, New York, at Dub Land Underground.
I’m guessing between June 24 and June 29, the band will be playing some other gigs. Maybe in New York, maybe in Connecticut. Jersey, perhaps. We will keep you posted.
