The Queen Extravaganza, brainchild of Queen drummer Roger Taylor and guitarist Brian May, brings the energy, excitement and music of Queen to a whole new generation. The show hits Seattle’s Showbox on June 28, will rock brains right out of their skulls, and then continue on its North American tour.
Queen’s iconic drummer Roger Taylor, a man whose own talents as writer and musician have inspired modern icons such as The Foo Fighters, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and even Lady Ga Ga (who famously took her name from Queen song Radio Gaga), personally takes on the role of producer and music director for this event. His idea was to the create the ultimate Queen concert experience that celebrates the band’s fantastic music and legacy.
The Queen Extravaganza touring band includes – four vocalists: Yvan Pedneault, Marc Martel, Jennifer Espinoza, Jeff Scott Soto and five musicians: guitar-Brian Gresh & Tristan Avakian, bass-Francois Olivier Doyon, drums-Tyler Warren and keyboards-Brandon Ethridge.

These musicians, hired after an intensive six week online audition search, were part of an audition process that drew worldwide interest. The submission videos generated more than more than 6.4 million views. Television host Ellen DeGeneres even invited singer Marc Martel to perform his audition on her show.
The show will run just over two hours of playtime with a 30 minute break. The playlist comprises of classic hits – Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Under Pressure, We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions, A Kind of Magic, Radio Ga Ga, Somebody to Love, Killer Queen – and power anthems such as I’m In Love With My Car, Tie Your Mother Down, and In the Lap Of The Gods.
