B-CC Restaurant Week Summer 2012 brings 7 days (July 16-22, 2012) of affordable fine dining to Montgomery County.

Have the never-ending 100°+ F heat waves and derecho got you down?  Treat yourself to fine dining on a budget with the Summer 2012 edition of Bethesda-Chevy Chase Restaurant Week.  Enjoy a 2-course lunch at $13-$16 or a 3-course dinner at $33 in the Bethesda-Chevy Chase and Potomac neighborhoods.

The best way to maximize your experience during Restaurant Weeks is to find restaurants that are normally expensive, highly-regarded for their food, and provide their best efforts to highlight their excellent food and service during Restaurant Week.  The first criterion is to make your culinary experiences deliciously worthwhile, and the second criterion is to get the most bang-for-the-buck considering the value offered by the Restaurant Week promotion.  For evaluation of food, I looked for restaurants with highly ranked food score in most recent edition of the Zagat Survey.

Two exemplary restaurants are the New American Persimmon (lunch or dinner), the fine Subcontinental cuisine of Passage to India (dinner), the high-end steakhouse The Capital Grille (lunch or dinner).
