For any musician, headlining a show is a rare opportunity and a huge honor. For Seattle-based Brothers From Another, a headlining debut is an acknowledgement of the music produced by the young duo and a testament to their growing reputation in the Seattle hip-hop arena. Brothers From Another will perform with Dave B and Shelton Harris at 7 PM on July 27th at The Crocodile in Seattle. Tickets can be bought here.

Brothers From Another, comprised of rappers Isaiah Sneed and Coleman Jones, are among the new wave of young Seattle rappers who are rising to prominence in the Northwest. Their music is characterized by a distinctively Pacific Northwest sensibility; they rap about life in Seattle and never miss an opportunity to represent the area. Their style of music is also distinctively Seattle; their tracks often feature a heavy emphasis on background music and simple vocals and lyrics. Brothers From Another, or BFA, have performed and collaborated with a variety of Seattle artists ranging from The Blue Scholars to Spokane-based Nude. Their newest EP, Taco Tuesdays, integrates the duo’s Northwest roots with Los Angeles style production, a transition explained by the resurgence of California rap and the fact that the pair both attend school in California. Download their debut album, Quality of Living, or Taco Tuesdays on their bandcamp.
