YG Comes to Seattle on Northwest Tour
As part of his “4 Hunnid Degreez” Tour of the Northwest, California rapper YG is performing in Seattle. YG will appear in Seattle on July 30th at the Crocodile. The show begins at 8 PM and tickets can be purchased here.
YG hails from Los Angeles; his style harkens back to a more traditional Southern Californian style of rap which emphasizes his exploits with women, money and drugs. YG is considered one of the more rough recently popular California rappers, he has a comparatively small but fervent following on the West Coast. YG has also collaborated with a number of rappers who are known for their intimidating and tough demeanors, such as 2Chainz and Nipsey Hussle. YG has become famous for his ridiculous to the point of hilarity anthems, which often feature descriptions of his alleged lifestyle and unfortunately, rather misogynistic lyrics. YG’s most famous song, ‘Toot It and Boot It’ is a fairly indicative sample of his work and displays the strong beats and light lyrics that made him a popular rapper.
