Ariel Garten, Co-founder and CEO of InteraXon, the Canadian company specializing in non-invasive brain-computer interfaces, recently gave a 20 minutes interview to the Extraordinary Women TV and talked not only about their Muse headband but discussed diverse topics from business and technology to the merge of art and science.Ariel is not your average technology startup CEO. She is an artist, scientist and a former avant garde clothing designer who had a store in Toronto. She has researched at the Krembil Neuroscience Institute studying hippocampal neurogenesis, displayed work at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and opened Toronto Fashion Week.
Beside being an entrepreneur and running InteraXon as the company’s chief executive officer, Ariel is also a psychotherapist trained in Neuro-linguistic programming and an artist who lives to explore the intersection of art and neuroscience.
