Master Coach Neil Ehrlich hosts the second annual Martial Arts Experience Friendship Tournament in Chantilly, VA—exciting competition, good sportsmanship, and fun for all!

On Sunday, March 24, 2013, Master Coach Neil Ehrlich will be hosting the second Martial Arts Experience Friendship Tournament (doors open at 12:30pm, competition begins at 1:30pm).  With a huge turn-out at the inaugural Martial Arts Experience, this year’s competition will be held in the spacious 80,000 square feet indoor sports-plex, The nZone (14550 Lee Road, Chantilly, VA 20151), located just a hop and skip from Washington Dulles International Airport.

The Martial Arts Experience Friendship Tournament is great for competitors of all experience levels, well-organized, and fairly judged.  What makes this an even more family-friendly event is its relative affordability—the $50 registration fee (for all children and Underbelt competitors) includes entry for forms (all styles traditional and contemporary combined), weapons (all types), and sparring divisions as well as one spectator ticket (additional ones are only $5/person age 7+).

For adult Black Belts, each division will have a separate entry fee as the men’s and women’s division winners for forms, weapons, and sparring will each win 50% of entry fees for the respective division.

As with all open martial arts tournaments, there will be forms, weapons, and point sparring divisions (or bopper sparring for children 7 and under) subdivided by age, experience level (beginner, intermediate, advanced, and Black Belt), and sex.   Six Grand Champions (male/female combined) will be awarded monster trophies (divided into Underbelt/Black Belt, 17-/18+, forms/weapons).

Registration will be available online for all children and Underbelt competitors (click here).  Registration for adult Black Belts will be at the door (cash only).  For more information regarding the Martial Arts Experience Friendship Tournament, please call Master Coach Ehrlich at (703) 786-0446.

Whether you are just getting started in martial arts competition or an experienced veteran, the Martial Arts Experience Friendship Tournament will be a day of fun competing with fellow area martial artists in a supportive environment!
