Behemoth Frontman Talks The Satanist
I can not fucking wait for Behemoth’s new record to finally find its way to my eager little ears.
The Satanist drops this fall on Nuclear Blast and Metal Blade.
Behemoth have finished tracking the CD at Hertz studio in Bialystok, Poland. Songtitles set to appear on the effort include “Blow Your Trumpet, Gabriel” — described by Behemoth frontman and cancer killer Adam “Nergal” Darski as “killer” and “a monster;” “Messe Noir” (French for “The Black Mass”); and “Ora Pro Nobis, Lucifer” (Latin for “Pray For Us, Lucifer”).
Sounds like songs from the third Ghost record, but we all know this Behemoth record will crush anything Ghost is capable of releasing.
“I’m listening to the new mix of the album… and it’s SPECTACULAR,” writes Nergal online. “If you can imagine something that beats the shit out of Evangelion, this is it!
“We shall take another six months before we put it out… Sorry, but that’s what it needs. Be patient. This album will shake the Mount Sinai!”
I can’t wait.
Anyone else psyched for the new Behemoth, or is everyone over this band?
I feel like they’re going to come back ten times harder with this new one, what with the cancer and all.
If I had beaten cancer, that’d inspire some serious shit in me.
