Motörhead Wacken Set Cut Short; Lemmy's Health Blamed
Astute Motörhead fans know that Lemmy Kilmister’s not been feeling like himself.
Yet, the band kept a commitment at Wacken Open Air today, but Motörhead had to end its performance after only six songs, because of Lemmy’s health.
Blabbermouth claims people attending the concert say the band spent less than half an hour on stage — 45 minutes less than scheduled — including drawn-out pauses between tracks and an unusually early solo spot, presumably to allow Lemmy enough time to gather his strength to perform.
After Motörhead left the stage, Wacken Open Air co-founder Thomas Jensen announced to the shocked audience that the concert was over.
Here are the songs the band managed to perform:
1. I Know How To Die
2. Damage Case
3. Stay Clean
5. Over The Top
6. The Chase Is Better Than The Catch
Fuck, I hope Lemmy’s gonna be OK. But I feel like this is a bad sign.
