Ozzy Says Black Sabbath Return Not To Blame For Relapse
Nope. ‘Twas something different entirely that had Ozzy Osbourne running back to drugs not that long ago.
I personally think living with that wench would require some heavy medication, but Sharon, it seems, is not the catalyst either.
Ozzy tells Revolver magazine:
“It wasn’t Black Sabbath. I’m an alcoholic. It’s my disease. If I don’t go to these AA meetings, I tell myself, ‘You can have a line of that. You can smoke that’ or whatever. Next thing you know, I’m fucking on my own somewhere in L.A.”
Imagine you’re in AA and Ozzy walks through the door. That’d be like being in an MA meeting and Cheech or Chong came strutting in.
“I don’t know why. I’m my own worst enemy. The idea of having one drink or one joint or one line of coke or whatever, my whole fucking life caves in. It’s a bad thing. I haven’t drunk now for maybe nine months.”
Long enough to have a drug baby.
